Kerala Engineering Agricultural and Medical Entrance Test Notification 2017 released by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala. The KEAM is the annual entrance test conducted by CEE Kerala. Students who are aspiring for various bachelors’ degree courses have to clear this examination with good marks. Students clearing this examination with good rank will get admission in various Engineering and Medical colleges in Kerala.

KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2017

  • Candidates must have qualified the 12th Class / Intermediate / Plus 2 Examination with atleast 50% of marks.
  • Candidates applying for Engineering must have Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as their main subjects in Intermediate.
  • Candidates applying for Medical coerces must have completed their Intermediate in Bi.P.C Group.
  • The applicants interested to get admissions in professional courses will be categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite category I and Non-Keralite category II.
  • The minimum age to apply for KEAM 2017 is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • There will be no provision for upper age limit.

KEAM Exam Patten 2017

  • KEAM Exam contains Paper 1 and Paper 2 for both Engineering and Medical Aspirants
  • The examination will be held in 2 parts with duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes for each part.
  • There will be MCQ type questions in the KEAM 2017 examination.
  • The examination will be held in offline mode.
  • There will be total 120 questions.
  • The applicants will be given 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.

KEAM Syllabus 2017

  • For Engineering Aspirants: Physics, Chemistry, Matchmatics of Intermediate / 12th Class Level.
  • For Medical Aspirants: Physics, Chemistry, Biology of Intermediate / 12th Class Level.

KEAM Application Process & Application Fee 2017

Interested and eligible candidates have to download the application form from the CEE official website.

Applicants have to pay the requisite application fee of,

  • For general applicants will be Rs. 1000/-
  • For SC applicants will be Rs. 500/-.

The ST applicants will be exempted from application fee. The applicants can pay the application fee through security card or demand draft drawn on a Nationalised/Scheduled Bank in favor of CEE (Commissioner of Entrance Examination), Kerala payable at Thiruvanthapuram.
